    The FIRST file is the base PDF. The other files are inserted, in order, after the page you choose. To change which is the base, remove the files and add them again with the base first.

    How it works

    1. Add the base PDF first, then one or more PDFs to insert (shown in order below).
    2. Enter which page of the base PDF to insert after. 0 places the inserted pages at the very beginning.
    3. Select Insert and review. The inserted pages are placed at that position, then the combined PDF opens for review. Download or share it when ready.

    Limits

    Browser-local. The first file is the base; the rest are inserted after the chosen page. Beta limits: up to 50 files and 200 MB total (mobile 20 files, 60 MB); each file up to 40 MB (15 MB on mobile); 400 total pages (150 on mobile). Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

    Is it safe to insert pages from one confidential PDF into another?

    Yes, this process is safe and private. Both of your PDF files are handled directly in your web browser. Nothing is ever uploaded to a server, so your documents remain secure on your computer.

    How do I insert one PDF into another?

    First, you select the main PDF you want to add pages to. Then, you select the second PDF you want to insert. Finally, you choose the page number in the main document where the new pages should be added.

    Can I insert a large PDF into another one?

    The free tool allows you to perform this operation as long as the final, combined PDF does not exceed 25 pages. To create a merged document longer than 25 pages, you will need a paid plan.

    Does this tool combine all pages from both PDFs?

    Yes, this tool inserts all pages from the second PDF into the first one. If you only want to insert specific pages, you should first use our Split PDF tool to create a new PDF with just the pages you need.
